As a wildlife conservationist from Nairobi, I appreciate the natural beauty that this destination offers. My experience at the Bergeries de Palombaggia left much to be desired, particularly regarding value for money. I rented a mini-villa, advertised like a luxury accommodation but clearly a misrepresentation of 2-star quality. The lack of basic amenities such as daily housekeeping and soap was evident. The small towels provided for the week were insufficient, especially for a family with young children. While the hotel has a stunning view and a cute pool area, it was quite small and lacked the expected luxury feel. Breakfast was another letdown; For €20 per person, the limited buffet options did not justify the cost, with dirty tables lingering long after guests had departed. Beyond just the price, the absence of any real service cast a shadow over my stay. You can certainly find better value elsewhere.
